Kelly and Jesse’s wedding day was a stunning blend of Southern charm and timeless elegance. From their heartfelt ceremony at the historic UGA Chapel to the joyful reception at The Chapel Athens, every detail reflected their love story in the most beautiful way.
The couple exchanged vows in a romantic chapel ceremony, surrounded by family, friends, and soft floral accents designed by JL Designs Weddings. With the melodic sounds of Sedici String Quartet filling the space, their ceremony was nothing short of breathtaking.
Following the ceremony, guests were transported to a gorgeous reception where South Kitchen Bar provided a delicious spread, and Atlanta Wedding Band kept the celebration going all night long. The reception space was transformed with candlelight, lush greenery, and elegant floral centerpieces, setting the perfect scene for an unforgettable evening.
Kelly was the definition of bridal beauty in a delicate lace gown, her hair styled to perfection by A Glamour Affair, while her bridesmaids radiated elegance with help from Bombshell Creations GA. She carried a bouquet of soft white blooms, effortlessly complementing the classic aesthetic of the day.
Jesse looked sharp in a timeless black tux, standing proudly by his bride as they celebrated with their loved ones. The couple’s portraits, beautifully captured by Sarah Folsom Photography, were filled with love, laughter, and classic Athens charm—including a romantic stroll through downtown.
One of the most exciting moments of the night? A special surprise for the guests—Hairy Dawg, the beloved UGA mascot, made an appearance on the dance floor! Halfway through the reception, he joined in the celebration, hyping up the crowd and dancing with the newlyweds. With LED foam sticks in hand and the energy soaring, the party reached a whole new level of fun.
As the night came to a close, guests indulged in a breathtaking cake by Classic City Confections before sending the newlyweds off in a truly magical farewell. Their grand exit featured not only sparkling lights but also bubbles floating through the night air, creating an ethereal, picture-perfect moment.
