Emily & Arthur
There was something truly special about Emily and Arthur’s wedding day—something you could feel from the moment the morning began. It was quiet, joyful, and deeply intentional—every detail thoughtfully planned, yet nothing ever felt overdone. Just timeless love surrounded by the people who matter most.
The couple shared their first look on a beautiful wraparound porch, and it was one of the most tender moments of the day. Emily, glowing in her sleek gown and soft veil, wiped away happy tears as Arthur gently held her hand. It was a moment that needed no words—just the kind of quiet love that says everything.
They exchanged vows beneath a rustic, hand-built wooden chapel nestled in the trees. Decorated with soft greenery and blooms by Susan Lack Florist, the setting felt peaceful and sacred—a natural extension of who they are as a couple. The ceremony was intimate, heartfelt, and filled with genuine emotion.
Guests were welcomed into a warm, inviting reception space filled with simple elegance and charm. From lush centerpieces to the soft candlelight, every table told a story. Lake Oconee Events provided beautiful rentals that brought the entire look together. String lights twinkled above, creating a cozy glow as day turned into night.
Epting Catering served a delicious Southern-inspired meal, and Harbor Club bar kept the drinks flowing all evening. The entire evening was laid-back, joyful, and full of connection—just the way it should be.
The dessert display was a sweet highlight of the reception. French For A While created a delicate macaron tower alongside a chocolate drip groom’s cake that reflected the couple’s fun and thoughtful style. It was a beautiful complement to the evening.
Emily and Arthur were a dream to celebrate. So calm, so in love—nothing could have taken them away from each other. There was an ease between them that carried through every part of the day. The bride was absolutely stunning—inside and out—graceful, radiant, and genuinely kind. The groom looked at her like she was the only person in the world. Their carefree spirit was infectious, and not even the smallest hiccup could have dimmed their joy.
Hair and makeup by Bombshell enhanced the natural beauty of the bride and her bridesmaids, who wore soft slate gowns and carried textured, romantic floral bouquets. Crystal captured every moment so effortlessly—from the quiet getting-ready touches to the dancing under the lights.
And when it came time to celebrate, Emerald Empire Band filled the space with energy while Braxton Thompson Sound ensured every heartfelt toast and special moment was heard.
It was one of those weddings you walk away from feeling grateful—grateful to witness something so real, so full of joy, and so beautifully rooted in love.
