There’s something so effortlessly timeless about a black and white wedding — and Lanier and Aaron’s day was the perfect example of just that. From the moment guests arrived at the stunning 255 Milledge Hardeman-Sams estate, every detail felt polished, elegant, and full of charm. It was a celebration filled with love, laughter, tradition, and a whole lot of style.
Lanier and Aaron were truly radiant. From their sweet first look to their joyful walk down the aisle, the love they share was beautifully felt in every moment. After their first look, they exchanged private vows — a heartfelt moment that brought each of them to tears and set the tone for the meaningful day ahead.
Lanier looked absolutely stunning in a halter-neck gown from Sakred Bridal — a silhouette that suited her perfectly and brought such timeless elegance to every photo. Her look was completed by flawless hair and makeup by Rachel Carter Beauty, and her natural glow was enhanced by a custom tan from Classic City Glow.
The ceremony took place in the front garden of the historic estate, filled with soft music and surrounded by lush arrangements from Gardenia Floral Design. Lanier and Aaron’s ceremony was full of sweet, personal touches — including a few giggles between the two of them at the altar — and ended with the traditional Jewish breaking of the glass, followed by cheers and a kiss to seal their vows.
Guests were then welcomed into an enchanting reception under a glowing tent. The space was dressed in crisp white linens with contrasting black napkins and brought to life with thoughtfully designed rentals from Oconee Events. The glamorous hanging floral chandelier over the dance floor made a breathtaking statement, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.
The delicious menu was prepared and served by Trumps Catering, who also provided a full bar service for guests to enjoy throughout the evening. After dinner, everyone indulged in a beautiful cake by Cecilia’s Cake Shop, adorned with delicate details that matched the day’s elegant aesthetic.
The evening continued with lively entertainment by MixWire Pro, who kept the energy high on the black-and-white checkered dance floor. Lanier and Aaron celebrated with their guests during the hora, joyfully lifted into the air in chairs while surrounded by so much laughter and excitement. The celebration was also captured on video by Scott Belanger Films, ensuring these joyful memories will live on in motion.
Personal touches were woven throughout the reception, including custom cups, koozies, and napkins from Sadie Stone Designs, adding an extra thoughtful detail to the day.
